I love car boot sales. Car boot sales are indeed a wonderful way to find hidden treasures while enjoying the outdoors. They are fun, they allow me to get rid of good quality items that I don’t need anymore, and it is a good outing for the family. Combining the thrill of the hunt with the joy of spending time outdoors, In this article, I reviewed 16 of the best car boot sales in Ireland. 1. Co. Kildare Boot Sale

2. Kilkenny Sunday Market

Facilities: Plenty of Parking Spaces.

Kilkenny Sunday Market is Ireland’s Largest and Longest-running car boot sale.

Many outdoor & indoor trader stalls/tables available.

A large Indoor facility which includes a Cafe and toilets with disabled person access.

So if the weather is wet there’s still plenty to see inside where it is dry.

3. Tralee Car Boot Sale

Location: Kingdom Mart, Tralee, Co.Kerry

4. Indoor Sale in Co. Clare

5. Jamestown Indoor Market & Car Boot Sale (Indoor)

Direction: Luas:  5 minutes walk away from the Blackhorse Luas stop.

Buses: The 51/b/c/x, 68 & 69 buses all stop on Tyrconnell Road.

6. Kilcully Scout Camp Car Boot Sale

Location: Kilcully Scout Campsite, Cork City, (northern outskirts)

Fees: Traders €10 (Extra fees may apply in certain cases)

Opening time: Gates open at approximately 8.30 am for traders. Customers usually arrive from 9.00 am onwards.

Customers: €2 per Adult, Children free!

Directions: At the Grotto in Blackpool go right

up Dublin Hill and keep going until you reach the Y junction at “The Black Man” pub.

Take the left fork and at the bottom of the hill go left at the sign for the Cemetery (sign on the right side of the road).

Follow this road and park in the parking area next to the graveyard. 

The Campsite is across the road. 

Traders, please queue at the marked gate to enter the site.

7. Ballydehob Car Boot Sale

Location: The Community Hall, Ballydehob, West Cork

8. Botanic Hockey Club Car Boot Sale

Coming from Cork,
head for Kinsale,
go through Riverstick and continue to Belgooly,
and turn right at the pubs for the GAA pitch.
Should be signposted.

Public admission: € 2 and Children FREE

10. Car Boot Sale in Ballymun
